Getting up with back pain—what a great way to start the day. Kyeji slowly peeled his eyes open, realizing he had fallen asleep in his chair again. His PC was still humming, the screen glowing in the dim room, and his phone was still connected to a Discord call that had long since gone quiet. It was a classic Kyeji move: being productive, failing actually to make it to the bed.

Not long after, the smell of breakfast wafted in. His Dada had made tocilog. Despite his Dada joking that today was supposed to be their gym day, Kyeji didn't care; the food was too good to pass up. Once he finished, he started prepping for the session. He opted for an all-black look—shirt and pants—leaving his shoes as the only pop of color.

Then came the highlight of the morning: driving the Hello Kitty car again.

At the gym, Kyeji couldn’t help but tease his Dada. He didn’t quite get why his Dada was renting a locker when he didn’t even own one. He just shrugged it off with a casual, “maki-share na lang ako,” thinking it was much more efficient anyway.

The workout went normally until they reached the weights. While Kyeji was taking a breather, his phone lit up—it was a picture from his Dad. “Nagpapapogi na naman kay Dada,” Kyeji thought with a smirk, amused by the sudden 'flex' while they were literally in the same room. He decided to play along, sending back a few sweet words that caught his Dada off guard. It worked instantly—his Dada was completely distracted, a small smile breaking his concentration. Mission accomplished.

After the gym, Kyeji had his next agenda: visiting Yelo, the one he was courting. It was raining by then, and because his Dada was protective—strictly forbidding him from using MoveIt or Angkas in such risky weather—Kyeji had to take his Dada's car.

The drive was worth it. At Yelo’s place, he was treated to a warm bowl of adobo cooked specifically for him. It was the kind of sweetness Kyeji lived for.

Eventually, he made his way back home. To cap off the rainy day, his Dada had cooked sopas—notably with fewer hot dogs this time. Exhausted from the weights, the driving, and the social battery usage, Kyeji didn't even make it to the couch. He ended his day exactly how he felt:

Lying flat on the floor.
