O6-O4–26
O6-O4–26 KYEJI SYLVAN

Kyeji’s uneventful yet academically terrifying day.

Nothing much happened today. At least—that was what Kyeji liked to tell himself.

Though perhaps surviving on barely any sleep already counted as an event on its own. Because somehow, Kyeji ended up sleeping at 5:30 in the morning.

Why? Reviewing. Or at least—trying very hard to convince himself that what he was doing counted as productive studying.

Not long after, he woke up again at almost 8:00 a.m., feeling like he had only blinked instead of actually sleeping.

Tired. Confused. Mentally somewhere else.

Only to find out—his first subject had been moved to 12 noon. And honestly, that information felt like a blessing sent directly from heaven.

So naturally, he went back to sleep. Because priorities.

Eventually, Kyeji woke up again. Not because of responsibility. Not because of discipline. But thanks to Yelo, who somehow became his human alarm for the day.

And thankfully, it worked.

Sleepy and barely functioning, Kyeji quietly ate the pandesal his dada had bought before eventually getting ready for university.

Simple morning. Nothing dramatic. Yet.

The first class of the day was Capstone. And honestly? Kyeji almost lost the battle. Against sleep. Several times.

The lecture somehow felt longer than time itself, and there were moments where his eyes threatened to betray him completely. But somehow, he survived.

Barely.

Then came the real enemy of the day.

Midterm exams.

And suddenly, all confidence disappeared.

Because truthfully? Kyeji knew absolutely nothing. No sudden realizations. No magical academic comeback. No hidden genius moment.

Just—hopes and prayers. Maybe a little luck. Possibly divine intervention.

The kind of exam where every answer somehow felt like an educated guess mixed with naive optimism. Still—against all odds—he passed.

Honestly? Even Kyeji himself had questions. But nobody was complaining. After that—he went home. Just exhaustion quietly settling into his body after surviving yet another academically questionable day.

And somehow—that was it.
